A Smile

This is a poem that depicts the art of Jin Shin Jyutsu philosophy.  I hope you enjoy it and share it.

A smile is like a light in the window to show that the heart is a home.

It costs nothing but it creates so much.

It enriches those who receive, without impoverishing those who give.

It happens in a flash sometimes, but the memory of it last forever.

There are none so rich, that they can get along without it.

There are none so poor, but are richer from its benefits.

It creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business and is the counter sign of friends.

It is rest to the weary.

It is daylight to the discouraged.

It is sunshine to the sad and nature’s best antidote for trouble and yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed or stolen, for it is something that is not any good to anyone, until it is given away.

So, if in the course of the day, your friends may be too tired to give you a smile, then why don’t you give them one of yours?

Nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to give.
